Day 1: March 14th
Today has been really fun. We arrived in the afternoon, and did a scavenger hunt. Then we went bouldering/climbing which was really fun too, and after we just hung out. It was really nice to just chill after such a long day! One of my favorite things was the scavenger hunt. I liked how we got to look around and take photos. We also saw a tortoise which was awesome! He was just sitting, and that was one of the best things today!
Day 2: March 15th
Today was very tiring because we went on 2 long hikes. They were both pretty long, and very hot. It was cool to wake up and see Joshua Tree in the morning. With the sun rising in the morning, it was so pretty. The first hike was to 49 Palms. The way there and back was hot, but had a pretty view. When we got to the palms, they were so cool and old looking. They were so green and there was running water at the bottom. Climbing on all the rocks there was fun. The second hike was harder and took longer. We went in a huge loop which took forever because I think we got lost, but still fun. Climbing up the hills there was so exhausting because they would go up really steep, then straight down. Towards the end it got better though. When we got home we went bouldering and watched the sunset. It was really pretty! All in all, today was really great.
Day 3: March 16th
Today was really fun! We woke up early at about 6, and watched the sun rise. We also took a bunch of photos in the morning. Later we went on a hike up to the tallest peak in Joshua Tree. The first half was all uphill, and going back was obviously downhill. The hike was really scenic and pretty. On the way home, we stopped at this boulder park. We got to climb on the huge rocks for a while, and it was really fun. Those "hikes" were really fun and so pretty walk/climb on. On the way home, we listened to rock music and it was really funny and cool. When we got home, we also climbed on the big rocks, but also just relaxed. I'm really going to miss Joshua Tree, but I'm also ready to go home. This was such an amazing trip, and I will never forget it!
